Ladies who love the facial hair – Wahl and Movember need your support.
For some men growing a moustache is something new. Men actually doing something about their health and cancers that affect them is also something new. The support and love of a Mo Sista can make all the difference.
A Mo Sista’s support can come in the form of a donation, or by attending the highly anticipated end of Movember Gala Partè where you might even be crowned Miss Movember 2009, or by registering a team at www.movember.com and recruiting a team of guys to grow moustaches.
Join Wahl and Movember and together we can change the face of men’s health.

The tour slowed down just long enough to take in the Kroger on Track for a Cure 250 in Memphis on Saturda
y afternoon. The race featured some of the top Cup Series drivers including Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch. While the big guns made an appearance, it was Brad Keselowski utilizing the power of the goatee to take home the checkered flag.
With the help of a competitive year in the NASCAR Nationwide series and some great weather, the event drew an excited crowd. We trimmed up over 100 hairy race fans over the weekend who were looking to tighten up their look before taking in the racing.
A few local TV stations also played host to the tour including Fox and CBS and welcomed the mobile barbershop to their studios. Check out the interview Fox posted here.
We’re making a pit stop in Austin to kick off Movember at the Lance Armstrong Foundation, then the white flag will drop as we head to the final event of the year – the Wings Over Houston airshow.

The Wahl Let it Grow Tour had a record-breaking weekend in Dallas at the Texas State Fair. We entered more than 525 entries into the Wahl Man of the Year contest. The Red Rivalry football game (Texas vs Oklahoma) played at the adjacent Cotton Bowl on Saturday brought fans and facial hair of all types by the mobile barbershop for a quick trim.
The midway was jammed with people looking to get their beards, goatees and mustaches trimmed by Wahl Master Barber Ben Phillips. They say everything is bigger in Texas, and the fair boasts the tallest ferris wheel in Texas (212 feet), as well as Big Tex, a 52-foot statue a Texas State Fair icon. The fair proudly proclaims that it is the “fried food capital” of Texas, including deep-fried Oreos, Twinkees, cheesecake and believe it or not deep-fried butter.
We had a great four days in Dallas, and will be heading to Memphis this weekend. Make sure to vote for the Wahl Man of the Year and check out the latest photos from our trip here.

The Let It Grow Tour is setting up shop in the Lone Star State. We swung by
the State Fair to say hi to Big Tex and trim up some facial hair. Despite the rainy past few weeks, it is starting to get crowded as people start heading to Dallas for the Red River Rivalry. ESPN College GameDay is in town as well for the match up.
If you are coming to the Texas State Fair, we are located at the foot of the 500 foot radio tower directly behind the Cotton Bowl. Also, check out what some of the guys are saying who already got trimmed up here.
How does everyone think is going to win this weekend?

Never was the 30-foot mobile barbershop more fitting than during the early sessions of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Tens of thousands of people packed the grounds for the 6 a.m. start time to see balloons take flight during sunrise. Lucky for us, many of which hadn’t gotten their morning trim yet.
Wahl’s professional stylists trimmed up hundreds of frosty haired guys during the morning and evening sessions. The mobile barbershop also had a great backdrop with events including the special shaped balloons and orchestrated glowing sessions at night.
Albuquerque was also home to the biggest mustache we have seen:
While balloons traveled in from around the world, it was great to see several creative balloons representing the U.S.A. Wahl is proud to manufacture all trimmers in the U.S.A.
They say everything is bigger in Texas. I guess we will see as the tour heads to Dallas for the Texas State Fair.
